Call us early — measure late
Bring us into the conversation at the design stage so blocking, waterproofing, curb slope and hardware locations are coordinated. But the measurement itself must happen after finished surfaces are in place, because glass is cut to the actual room, not the drawing.
Site readiness checklist
| Project | Must be complete before measurement |
|---|---|
| Shower enclosure | Tile, grout, curb, bench and threshold fully installed and cured |
| Stair railing | Treads, risers and finished flooring installed; structure fastened |
| Balcony / deck guard | Decking, fascia and structural blocking complete |
| Office partition | Ceiling grid, flooring and track substrate complete |
| Mirror wall | Drywall finished, painted and blocking located |
Typical lead times
| Stage | Residential | Commercial |
|---|---|---|
| Quote after site visit | Within 24 hours | 1–3 business days |
| Measurement to fabrication | 1–2 business days | 2–5 business days |
| Fabrication | 5–10 business days | 10–20 business days |
| Installation | Typically one day | 2–5 days by phase |
Budget planning
Frameless costs more than semi-frameless because thicker glass, precision templating and heavier hardware are all required. The premium is typically 40–70%. Hardware finish, low-iron glass, protective coating and non-square site conditions are the four variables that move a quote most.
Day-of-install expectations
- Clear access from the entry to the work area, and a parking spot for the crew
- Protection laid over finished flooring by our team
- Silicone cure time of 24 hours before the shower is used
- Walkthrough, care handout and hardware demonstration before we leave
